Azzerdeen’s interest in Acupuncture was sparked at a young age when she saw how beneficial Chinese Medicine was for her mum who developed a chronic metabolic disease. After embracing her fear of needles, Azzerdeen embarked on her Acupuncture undergraduate degree in Melbourne, and completed her Masters in Public Health in Brisbane.
Azzerdeen has been an Acupuncturist for over a decade. She has worked in a variety of remote and metropolitan clinical settings ranging from community health centres, to crisis accommodation centres, to private practice clinics.
Over the course of her practice, Azzerdeen has learnt from some of the best local and international mentors that Chinese Medicine has to offer. In her treatments, she incorporates complementary styles of distal Acupuncture with local trigger point and dry needling techniques to help restore balance, alleviate pain, and calm the nervous system.
In the fast-paced rhythm of modern life, finding balance can feel like a daunting task. But with the innovative tools of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, we're rewriting the playbook on wellbeing. It's not about ancient mystique or lofty ideals—it's about practical solutions for the real challenges we face today. Let's harness the power of tradition and modern innovation to craft a healthier and happier you, one pin at a time.
